iPad Care, Use and Protection
#1 The iPad is loaned to each
student for the school year. It
must be returned in good
condition at the end of the
school year or when a
student leaves the OVSD.
#2 The student will be
charged for the full cost of
the iPad, protective case,
and /or charging device if
these are not returned. The
District will withhold grades,
diploma, and transcripts from
the student and
parent/guardian until
reparation is made.

responsible for loss or any
damage to his/her iPad,
iPad case, and/or iPad
charging device, just as
he/she is responsible for the
care of textbooks and other
school property.

his/her iPad to school every

be free from stickers,
writing, or any other thing
that defaces or damages
the devise or case.

lint-free cloth to clean the
screen. Do not use
aerosol sprays, solvents, or

items may cause damage
to the iPad.

In the classroom, the iPad is a tool for learning.
• The teacher is the learning leader and
directs the use of classroom resources,
including the iPad.
• Students are to follow teacher directions.

When an iPad is not being used in class or the
teacher has asked for them to be turned off, the
iPad MUST be turned off.

Student are to be using only the apps or accessing
sites teachers have directed them to during class
time.
