My first day was exciting. At 6 o’clock we
started our big adventure – we came to
England. Journey was very tiring, because it
lasted 6 hours! But my first travel by plane
was definitely a good experience. In the
afternoom I met my partner Tabitha. She is
really nice, intelligent and ambitious person. I
felt weird when I heard her perfect English. In
the evening we were on the beach with her
parents. It was very windy, but views were
amazing. Tabitha’s parents are nice and funny.
I had not got big problems with language. I
felt like home here.
All day trip to Bath – it sounded great!
It was really exciting. We travelled by
popular double-decker bus and in this
way we visited city. We learnt a lot
about history of buildings and
monuments. We also visited thermes.
England is a huge, beautiful country
and Bath is a city, where we can go
not only for shopping.
Today we spent almost all day with family. In the morning we drove to
the beach with my partner and we met our Polish and English
friends. We had great time together, walking along the seashore,
playing rounders and volleyball. We made close relations with
English partners and learnt more about their habits. It has to be
agreed that they are different from ours habits, especially their
food preferences and left hand drive. I tasted here a lot of new
meals and I liked them. Tabitha’s mum is amazing chef. In the
afternoom we went swimming with our friends, and in the evening
we met our friends in the bowling alley. I’ve never been bowling
before, so it was something new for me and I very liked it. And I
won, too. 
I finally visited Pilton College interior.
It’s a huge and pretty building. We
also went on a trip to Lynton &
Lynmouth. We walked through
amazing forest from Watersmeet
to Lynmouth and we travelled by
funicular railway to Lynton. In
Lynton we ate a dessert. I tasted a
tea with milk for the first time and I
liked it  In the afternoom we
were on the picnic with Tabitha
and our friends. I think my English
became better during the stay.
I spent all morning in Pilton College. There were dance workshops in
the beginning. English partners showed us their dance, then learnt
us their moves. We showed the results of our work on stage.
Lights and smoke let us feel like in the real theatre. Next classes –
sports were also interesting. I learnt the rules of English game
called rounders, and upgraded my handball skills. We also had
computer classes. We learnt about English traditions. After the
activities we did some sightseeig of Barnstaple with a tour guide
who showed us historic monuments and told us their story. After
huge shopping on High Street we went for Euro dinner in Pilton
College. A lot of students sang moderns songs, played guitars. We
admired their talent. Me and my partner met with out friends in
the park in the evening. It was fun because we played popular
game Twister.
Today was raining and it wasn’t perfect day for a trip.
Visiting Clovelly and Tintagel was rather dangerous
as far as such weather is concerned, but it did not
stop us. Ruins of castle Tintagel were striking. I
learnt new information about history of King
Arthur which I thought I knew well before. We
also saw a place where Merlin lived. The ocean
looked amazing.
In the evening I watched film „Pirates of the
Caribbean: At World’s End”. We watched it
together in English.
Every year there is a celebration called Devon
Show – you can’t miss this event! A lot of shows,
stores, animals, the best animal contest,
amusement park, a lot of fun – it was all here,
during the Devon Show. There was very big
show that you can forget. This cannot be
described by words - you must see it yourself.
Our last trip to huge city – to Exeter. We saw different
monuments. I liked the most the narrowest street in
the world - Parliament Street. After sightseeing we
went shopping, and went home. I could not believe
that I will leave England in two days time.
Tabitha taught me how to play the English game called
Split. I taught her to play Makao. The atmosphere here
is very familiar and that is why I felt very good here.
After lunch we went to the theatre to see play called
West Side Story. It was a modern version of Romeo and
Juliet story. Besides, it was all in English and I
understood the story. The theatre became my love.
It was my last day with
family. It was a big
shooping day 
Barnstaple is really
interesting place. I went
to sleep earlier, beacuse
we were leaving at 2
a.m.
Today I left England. I felt sad, because I really
liked this family. If I could, I’d stay here
longer. I do not regret that I came to
England. My English is better now, I met
new people and different culture, and I
visited a lot of places and stores  I hope
I’ll back here someday.
