PSTU: facts and figures
• 1930 PSTU was founded a professional training school for the workers
• 1993 the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine issued Resolution No.956,
making it a technical university
• 10 faculties, 45 departments
• 451 teaching staff, including 38 professors with doctorates, 223 associate
professors with the degree of candidate of sciences
• More than 5600 students in 2013-2014
