DISCIPLE-MAKING STARTS AT HOME
• Are we sending our children out as
missionaries or as mission fields?
• “But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts:
and be ready always to give an answer to
every man that asketh you a reason of the
hope that is in you with meekness and fear.”
1 Peter 3:15
• Can our children defend the faith?
WE ARE LOSING 57%-88% OF “CHRISTIAN”
YOUTH AFTER FOUR YEARS OF COLLEGE!
Friends with Campus Crusade for Christ tell
me, “If we don’t get the Christian kids within
the first six weeks of their freshman year [of
college], we’ve lost them to the competing
worldviews.”
How do we lose them?
WE CANNOT DEFEND THE FAITH!
• Where did Cain get his wife?
• How did Noah get all the animals on the ark?
• Aren’t Christians really polytheists?
• Wasn’t the Flood of Noah a local flood?
• Aren’t the days of Genesis long periods of time
• Hasn’t science proven the universe is billions of
years old?
• Isn’t starlight millions of years old?
• Didn’t dinosaurs go extinct 60 M. years ago?
