what is not obvious)
Explain who you are in your statement- not your mother,
clergyman, brother, teachers, etc.
Focus your answers- do not need to respond to all items
being asked for- choose one area that is most relevant
Draft, get feedback, and revise

Use an appropriate e-mail address for all college applications and




Most CSU & UC Campuses will notify students of
admissions decision as early as March 2014
Private Colleges will notify students of admissions decisions
on a rolling basis, depending on school- most decisions
should be made by March
Conditions of Admission (all acceptances are probationary
until July)



Complete all coursework reported in the application with
appropriate grades
Notify campus in a timely manner of deficient grades in the fall or
spring of senior year
Notify campus of any change in course selection
