Seeing Christ in Genesis 11:27 to 25:10

 It is through Christ that “all peoples on earth are blessed” (See Gen. 12:3 , Acts 3:25 and Gal. 3:6-9 )  Melchizedech was a picture and a “type” of Christ (See Gen. 14:18-20 and He. 7:1-3 )  The offering of Isaac was a picture of the death of Christ. A father offering his son, the son dead for three days (in Abraham’s mind), and on the same mountain where Christ was offered many centuries later for the sins of the world.
