Biological Evaluation of NoroTec™ Products
NoroTec AB has made extensive biological evaluation of the NoroTec™ Products
in own and external research laboratories and in field trials in different countries
in agricultural crops.
The presentation covers some examples of this evaluation.
Specific results with our other products can be obtained on request.
BEST IN TEST
Manganese field trials in barley:
NoroTec AB and the National Agriculture
Advisory Service in Sweden initiated a field
trial serie 2004 with manganese treatment in
barley and the trial serie ended in 2006.
Three trials were carried out each year
In four trials out of nine severe mangenese
deficiency occured.
In each trial with severe manganese
deficiency NoroTec™ Manganese shows
the highest yield and gives significant
higher yield than Mantrac Optiflo.
Manganese 235 doesn’t give significant
higher yield in comparison to Mantrac
Optiflo.

Conclusion: NoroTec™ Manganese, formulated according to the NoroTec patents, using
organic acids as complex binding/chelating agents has a superior effect compared to,
manganese nitrate, manganese carbonate, manganese 80 gram/l formulated with EDTA as a
chelate and manganese sulphate under very severe manganese deficiency.

Conclusion: There is a clear dose response effect.
Recommended dosage rate 3 litre/ton.
