Accessory apartment means one or more rooms

o Areas common to more than one dwelling unit—
including entryways, furnace rooms, laundry

included in the computation of the net floor area
for the accessory apartment.
o One on-site parking space
Currently
o On a lot 100% or larger than the minimum lot
size AND connected to City sewer only a
building permit is needed.
o On a lot less than the minimum lot size an
approved conditional use permit is required.
o On a lot (any size) not served by City sewer an
approved conditional use permit is required.

building permit is needed.
