Russia. Emperor Frantsem I gifted the title of the earl to his
brothers Roman and Ivan Illarionovicham in 1760; this
advantage was concolidated by them in Russia only in 1797.
• Earls Vorontsovs have been written down in V parts of
genealogical books of the Vladimir, Kursk, Moscow, Kaluga,
St.-Petersburg and Yaroslavl provinces. The grandson of Novel
Illarionovich, the count Michael Semenovich Vorontsov, being

Russian empire advantage; in 1852 a title has been granted to
him.
