Lesson Objectives
• To understand the importance of audience and
purpose when designing a web product
• All students will identify the audience and
purpose of a website
• Most students will explain how a website has
been designed for the audience and purpose
• Some students will be able to reason why some
website may have more than one audience or
purpose
Purpose
• A website is always designed with a purpose in
mind. In your Unit 1 exam you will be given a
client brief, and you will have to design a website
which suits their purpose and their audience
• The purpose is WHY the website is being
