Code of Behaviour


If your child’s behaviour is deemed to bring other
participates safety and well being into question
then we will be sending your child home at your
expense. This may also mean you incurring the
costs of a supervising teacher accompanying your
child to the airport in Tokyo. Your child will be
flown home alone, under the supervision of airport
staff.
The MRSHS Ski Website may contain images of
your child, if you object to this, please make this
known to Mr Darby



The most up to date copy of this can be
downloaded from our website.
If you cannot do this, we will print you a
copy and give it to your child at school.
Rooming Arrangements
Rooming arrangements will be made when
we have a room breakdown.
 At all accommodation we have either 2’s or
3’s.
 Students will be asked who they would like
to share with but this usually needs to be
negotiated.

Spending Money
10 meals @ $16 = $160
 Ski Gear
 General spending souvenirs $100
 Shopping

We are looking at collecting $300 per student
and converting this into Yen, to be given
out in Term 4.
Using ATM’s
There is not an abundance of ATM’s in
Japan so getting money can be a problem.
 There are ATM’s in most 7/11 stores and
there is one of these near our hotel in
Hakuba and one on-site in our Tokyo hotel.
 Your access card needs to have “cirrus” or
“maestro” on back of card.

Phones and Global Roaming
If you take your own phone and allow
global roaming you will build up an
enormous phone bill.
 All staff have a Travelsim which will allow
phone calls and text messages – no data.
Our phones must be unlocked from a
network.
 It is advised that students either don’t take
their phone or change SIM cards.

Safety Issues in General

At every site that we visit, we will establish
meeting points.
 One outside in case we are required to
evacuate a location (fire)
 One inside where we would expect
students to meet up with us when
necessary.
Students must carry a contact card with
them at all time which has our phone
numbers on it.
 Students will be required to wear their
school jacket at the airport, tours and at
Disneyland.
 Regular meetings will be held each night to
discus the days issues and go through
procedures for the following day.
