What does a “credit” mean?

One semester class equals .5 credit*
 Six classes per semester equals 3.0 credits*

The Registration Guide has been designed to assist
you in planning for your next year’s school program.

Time devoted to careful planning and course selection
will be time well spent.

We suggest that you consult with teachers, counselors,
and parents/guardians before making these important
choices.
Registration Guidelines

Students are to plan their course selections carefully
with their teachers, counselors, and parent/guardian to
avoid the need for program change. Once the master
schedule has been built, schedule changes may be
approved on a space in class available basis for the
following reasons only:

Failed/not taken prerequisite course
Conflicts in schedule
Class imbalance
Schedule error(s)
Where can I find more information
about Honors Diploma?

There is a complete description of the
Honors Program and the courses required
for an Honors Diploma in the Course
Registration Guide. You may also make an
appointment with the coordinator of the
Honors Program.
 Must earn a final semester grade of A or B
in honors classes.

Get Involved!




Students who get involved in extracurricular activities
including sports, clubs, and groups have the best
experience in high school. Here are some of the examples
of how you can get involved:
