Testimonial
The AANA Foundation is one of the
primary sources for the funding of
research grants and scholarships leading
to the advancement of the nurse
anesthesia profession. Through State
advocates like myself, members and
students are able to discover methods to
support the Foundation and give back to
the profession they have chosen. Thank
you all for ensuring optimal, safe
anesthesia care for the patients we serve.
David Schwytzer, CRNA, BS, ARNP
Kentucky Advocate
Testimonial
“In August 2011, we published an article reporting our work
which was performed within the Space Medicine Division at
NASA's Johnson Space Center.” “Cardiopulmonary
Resuscitation During Spaceflight: Examining the Role of
Timing Devices”
“I remain extremely grateful to the Foundation for the grant I
received supporting my dissertation. It is a great example of
how CRNAs who are supported by the Foundation can
impact not only anesthesia but resuscitation and even
spaceflight! I hope it can serve an inspiration to future
researchers.”
Paul Austin, CRNA, PhD
