No Vandalism
• Students who vandalize books will receive vandalism tickets
from the school resource officer.
• Report any vandalism on desk or in books immediately so you
are not held responsible.

• Keep your folders clean.
• Folders with graffiti or tagging are turned
in to the school resource officer.
• Folders with gang related photographs in
the clear sleeves will be turned in to the
school resource officer.
• Assignments with graffiti will not be
graded.

• Students always have the right to
appeal a situation with
administration.

Cell Phones must be
turned off when entering
or exiting the building
(before and after school)
No Cell Phones
• If you are seen using a cell phone, a
staff person will request it from you
and hold it until the end of the day.
• Non-Compliance will result in parent
meeting and phone being returned to
parents
Dress Code
• Break up your clothing colors. No dressing in
all one color
• No red/blue hair ties or shoe laces
• No athletic jerseys
• No numbers on clothes and accessories
• No Gang insignia on clothes or jewelry,.
• Tattoos with gang affiliation must be covered
• White and Black hair ties only
NO HATS
OR HEAD COVERING
NO IMMODEST OR
SUGGESTIVE CLOTHING
Examples include, but are not limited
to :
- Halter tops or backless tops
- Bare midriffs or low cut tops
- Shorts and skirts must reach arms
length

FOLLOW DIRECTIONS
• You will given a T-shirt to help you if you
have a dress code violation.
• Return the T-shirt to a teacher at the end
of the day.
• Chronic dress code violations will result in
a parent/guardian meeting.
No iPods in Class
No IPODS
• If you are seen with ear pieces, a
staff person will request it from you
and hold it until the end of the day.
Be There
Be Ready
• Wait for break to be over and then going to
restroom and to get a drink
– Dawdle in halls after music ends
• Have school supplies or ask the teacher for
what you need; Keep pencil for entire day
• Begin math and edit problem right away
•No kissing, hugging, touching etc.
•Play fighting
•Stay in own space
• No Grabbing other students’ things
Hands and Feet to Self
• Problems among students will not be
tolerated
– Mad dogging
– Whistling
– Gang signs and hand gestures
• Instigators will be suspended
– Message carriers

• 9th and 10th graders are only on the
third floor
• Students should not be on the 4th or
5th floor without permission
Closed Campus
• Eat your breakfast, lunch, and snacks on
campus.
• Maverick and 7-11 are not on our campus.
Going there is considered sluffing.
• Get permission to go to your car.
• Parking lot is considered off campus
without permission.
• Stairwells are only for emergency.
Your Advisory Teacher
Will:
• Help you understand your
credits/transcript
• Advocate for you
• Help you with any problems you are having
with classes or other students
• Connect you and your family with
resources
• You advisor will call you after 3 absences
UBSCT Tests
• UBSCT tests will be the first week
of February
– Prepare in class and on Classworks
– Get a good night sleep before the test
