Sustainable production methods

– Studies on how to apply good agricultural practices, organic farming and their adoption – Studies on agricultural production methods causing less harm to the environment (e.g. production in greenhouses heated with geothermal energy) – Research on extension services used for promoting sustainable production methods – … 6

1.2 Marketing and producer organizations (POs)

– research on marketing channels used by EU POs, – analysis of marketing options and operating structures of TR POs, – studies on adoption of suitable organizational options or the re organisation of POs’ operating structures – research on price monitoring systems – .. 7

1.3 Implementation of marketing standards

– Analysis of legislation on marketing standards and standard implementation at every stage of production and marketing chain (e.g. by POs, traders, retailers, etc.), – Studies on organizational requirements for implementation of these standards by the respective value chain actors (olive oil and table olives, fresh and/or processed fruit and vegetables, banana, ornamental plants, meat, milk and milk products, spreadable fats, eggs, products of eggs and poultry meat) 8

Associates
