 To serve and give back to a community that needs health care
and education
 Inter-Professional Education :for all of Health Sciences to
work together as one in the service and education of the
community
 For all health professionals to learn about cultural
competency as we experience treating patients from a
diverse background.
Purpose
 To provide health care to the midvale community, with
strong need for family practitioners, internists, pediatricians
and mental health professionals
 Long term goal : Midvale Clinic will serve as the flagship for
the University of Utah Health Sciences in community
service, inter-professional education and cultural
competency
