How can you go?
Exchange
Freemover
• ASB allocates position
• You receive ASB / Erasmus grant
• Only feepaying positions require tuition payments
• You arrange contact with host institution (via agent)
• You receive the ASB freemover grant
• In most cases you need to pay tuition fees

Do you qualify?
BA MMC
• You must have passed each of the screening examinations (førsteårsprøver) with
a minimum of grade 2
BSc
• You must have passed Part One of the BSc program (førsteårsprøver) with a
weighed grade point average of at least 02 and each seperate exam with at least
00
MSc
• You must have passed the first semester prerequisite courses according to your
study program with a weighed grade point average of at least 02 and each
seperate exam with at least 00
All students
• You must be a full time student
• You must have passed language requirements as stated for each institution

• Documentation of language skills (Toefl etc)
• Other requirements as stated in institution database
• Exemption from 30 ECTS rule
Application Deadline: 22 February 2011, 12.00 (noon)

Criteria of Allocation
• GPA (gennemsnit)
• Minimum requirements (Toefl etc, see database)
Second Allocation round
• First come first serve
Once allocated a position, you cannot change it!!!!
Financial Issues
Please make sure you have sufficient funds for study abroad
What does study abroad cost?
• How much do you want it to cost?
• Living costs, visa, insurance, travel, etc
What about the income side?

• ASB grant /Erasmus grant

• Udlandstipendium
Things to consider!
Visa
• Are you a terrorist? Don’t go to the US…
Insurance
• Compulsory insurances in some countries
• Recomended: www.studenterforsikring.dk
Accommodation
• On campus vs off campus
Courses
• It is your own responsibility to find relevant courses during study abroad
Academic Considerations
30 ECTS during study abroad
If you take less…
• Freemovers will get a lower Udlandstipendium from
SU
• You must be able to get the mandatory courses
abroad
