The CBFNC
The CBFNC is a non lucrative organisation, it’s purpose is to promote the use of boats for
recreational purpose.
To safeguard and further the interests afloat of those who know and operate boats.
To offer rules of conduct for their safe operation.
To govern trials of their speed, their endurance or navigation skill, and formulate rules for such
competitions as its members may from time to time desire.
To foster the development of Canadian waterways and harbours to the benefit of its members and
all those operating small vessels on Canadian lakes, rivers and coastal waterways.
To further the above objects in the marine industry of Canada.
The operations of the Corporation to be carried on throughout Canada and elsewhere.
CBFNC is the “Sanctioning Body” for all power boat racing in Canadian waters.
Dedicated group that offers competitive racing venues
Working closely with our American friends the A.P.B.A & the U.I.M.

Introduction to the sport of racing
– Amazing , adrenalin-pumping sport.
_ Family oriented
_ Junior Division ( Outboard ) 9 years old & up.
_ Junior ( Inboard ) 14 years old & up.
_ Male & Female race competitively together.
_ People from all walks of life are involved with this sport
_ Comradely within boat racing, sets us apart from other motor sports
– costs very depending upon division & equipment.
_ Outboard Division entry level cost about $ 3000.00 ( used equipment ) & up.
_ Inboard Division entry level cost about $ 6000.00 ( used equipment ) & up.
_ Club Membership - $ 125.00 & up ( depending on club )
_ CBFNC Racing Membership $ 50.00 & up ( depending on Division )

_ Many members ( non racers ) offer support to the racers , work as officials, help with events ect.,
just to be involved in boat racing.
_ Club newsletters also keep members informed of events , filled with race results, current events
& just a great source of information for the boating enthusiast
