Chapter Ten
Rev. 10:1 - And I
saw another mighty
angel come down
from heaven,
clothed with a cloud:
and a rainbow was
upon his head, and
his face was like the
sun, and his feet like
pillars of fire:
Rev. 10:2a
And he had
in his hand
a little book
open:
10:2b…and
he set his
right foot
upon the sea,
and his left
foot on the
earth,
3 And he
cried with a
loud voice,
like a lion
roaring. And
when he had
cried, seven
thunders
spoke their
sounds.
Rev. 10:4 - And when
the seven thunders had
uttered their voices, I
was about to write:
and I heard a voice
from heaven saying
unto me, Seal up those
things which the seven
thunders uttered, and
write them not.
10:5 And the
angel which I
saw stand upon
the sea and
upon the earth
lifted up his
hand to
heaven,
6 And swore
by him that
lives for ever
and ever, who
created
heaven, and
the things
that are in it,
and the earth,
and the things
that are in it,
and the sea, and
the things which
are in it, that
there should be
time no longer:
Rev. 10:7 But in the days of the voice of the
seventh angel, when he shall begin to sound, the
mystery of God should be finished, as he has
declared to his servants the prophets.
Rev. 10:8 And
the voice which
I heard from
heaven spoke
to me again,
and said, Go
and take the
little book
which is open
in the hand of
the angel which
stands upon
the sea and
upon the land.
Rev. 10:9 And I went to the angel, and said to him,
Give me the little book. And he said to me, Take it,
and eat it up; and it shall make your stomach
bitter, but it shall be sweet as honey in your mouth.
Rev. 10:10 And I took the little book out of the
angel's hand, and ate it; and it was sweet as honey
in my mouth : and as soon as I had eaten it, my
stomach was bitter.
You must
prophesy again
before many
peoples, and
nations, and
tongues, and
kings.
Rev. 10:11 And
he said to me,
Rev. 11:1 - I was given a reed like a
measuring rod and was told, "Go and
measure the temple of God and the altar, and
count the worshipers there.
But exclude the outer court; do not measure
it, because it has been given to the Gentiles.
They will trample on the holy city for 42
months.” Rev. 11:2
And I will give power to my two witnesses,
and they will prophesy for 1,260 days, clothed
in sackcloth. Rev. 11:3
These are the two olive trees and the two
lamp stands that stand before the Lord of the
earth. Rev. 11:4
If anyone tries to harm them, fire comes from
their mouths and devours their enemies. This
is how anyone who wants to harm them must
die. Rev. 11:5
These men have
power to shut up the
sky so that it will not
rain during the time
they are
prophesying;
and they have power to turn
the waters into blood and to
strike the earth with every
kind of plague as often as
they want. Rev. 11:6
Now when they have finished their testimony,
the beast that comes up from the Abyss will
attack them, and overpower and kill them.
Rev. 11:7
Their bodies will lie in the street of the
great city, which is figuratively called Sodom
and Egypt, where also their Lord was
crucified. Rev. 11:8
For three and a half days men from every
people, tribe, language and nation will gaze
on their bodies and refuse them burial.
Rev. 11:9
The inhabitants of the earth will gloat over
them and will celebrate by sending each other
gifts, because these two prophets had
tormented those who live on the earth.
Rev. 11:10
But after the three and a half days a breath of
life from God entered them, and they stood
on their feet, and terror struck those who saw
them. Rev. 11:11
Then they heard a loud voice from heaven
saying to them, "Come up here." And they
went up to heaven in a cloud, while their
enemies looked on. Rev. 11:12
At that very hour there was a severe
earthquake and a tenth of the city collapsed.
Seven thousand people were killed in the
earthquake, and the survivors were terrified
and gave glory to the God of heaven.
Rev. 11:13
The second
woe has
passed; the
third woe is
coming soon.
Rev. 11:14
Rev. 11:15 - And the seventh angel sounded; and
there were great voices in heaven, saying, The
kingdoms of this world are become [the kingdoms]
of our Lord, and of his Christ; and He shall reign
for ever and ever.
11:16 - And the four and twenty elders, which
sat before God on their seats, fell upon their
faces, and worshipped God,
11:17 Saying, We
give you
thanks, O
YAHWEH
God
Almighty,
Who are,
Who was, and
Who is to
come;
because You
have taken
Your great
power, and
have begun to
reign.
11:18 And the nations
have been full
of wrath, and
Your wrath
came, and the
time of the dead
to be judged,
and to give the
reward to Your
servants the
prophets,
and to the
saints, and to
those who fear
Your name,
small and great;
and to destroy
those that
destroy the
earth.
11:19 - And the temple of God was
opened in heaven, and there was
seen in his temple the ark of his
testament: and there was lightning,
and voices, and thunder, and an
earthquake, and great hail.
11:19 - And the temple of God was
opened in heaven, and there was
seen in his temple the ark of his
testament: and there was lightning,
and voices, and thunder, and an
earthquake, and great hail.
Revelation 12
Rev. 12:1 - And there
appeared a great sign in
heaven; a woman
clothed with the sun,
and the moon under her
feet, and upon her head
a crown of twelve stars:
12:2
She was pregnant and cried
out in pain as she was about
to give birth
12:3
And there appeared
another sign in
heaven; and behold a
great red dragon,
having seven heads
and ten horns, and
seven crowns upon
his heads.
12:4a - And his tail
drew the third part
of the stars of
heaven, and cast
them to the earth:…
12:4b …and the
dragon
stood before
the woman
which was
ready to be
delivered, to
devour her
child as soon
as it was
born.
12:5 - And she brought forth a man child, who was
to rule all nations with a rod of iron: and her child
was caught up unto God, and [to] his throne.
12:6 And the woman fled into the wilderness, where
she has a place prepared of God, that they should
feed her there a thousand two hundred [and] sixty
days.
12:7a - And there was war in heaven:
12:7b - …Michael and
his angels fought
against the dragon;
and the dragon fought
and his angels,
12:8 - And prevailed not; neither was their place
found any more in heaven.
12:9a - And the great dragon was cast out, that old
serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceives
the whole world:
12:9b - he was cast out into the earth, and his
angels were cast out with him.
12:10 - And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven,
Now is come salvation, and strength, and the
kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ:
for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which
accused them before our God day and night.
12:11 - And they overcame him by the blood
of the Lamb, and by the word of their
testimony; and they loved not their lives unto
the death.
12:12a - Therefore rejoice heavens, and you that
dwell in them.
12:12b - Woe to the
inhabitants of the earth
and of the sea! for the
devil is come down unto
you,
…having great
wrath, because he
knows that he has
but a short time.
12:13 - And when the dragon saw that he was cast
unto the earth, he persecuted the woman which
brought forth the man [child].
12:14 - And to the woman were given two wings of
a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness,
into her place, where she is nourished for a time,
and times, and half a time, ( 3 ½ years) from the
face of the serpent.
12:15 - And the serpent cast out of his
mouth water as a flood after the woman,
that he might cause her to be carried
away of the flood.
16 And the earth helped the woman, and the earth
opened her mouth, and swallowed up the flood
which the dragon cast out of his mouth.
12:17 - And the dragon was angry with the woman,
and went to make war with the remnant of her
seed, which keep the commandments of God, and
have the testimony of Jesus Christ.
