Internship Guidelines

Spring 2015 Semester

 Have you completed all your subjects?

Internship ONLY after completing all subjects.

 However, in exceptional cases, one subject may be allowed with internship if approved by the concerned Head of Department.

What to Do:

Email Soft Copy of Résumé to OPA



Forwarding Letter (3 copies/student) from OPA at a time (Only If required, Not Mandatory).



Submission of the Organization’s Acceptance Letter to OPA within 7-10 days of joining the organization.



Topic Selection for the Report from the Supervisor.



Submission of Proposal to the Supervisor.



Submission of Draft Report to the Supervisor.



Submission of Final Report to OPA 3

Mandatory Requirements:

 Soft copy of Résumé with Recent Passport Size Photo - Must attach in word file.

 Soft & Hard copy of Final Report  Valid E-mail Address

Internship Report:



Student is expected to prepare and submit an Internship Report during the semester.



Two types of Internship Reports (Discuss with your academic and organizational supervisor on which format you should or want to work on).



Internship Affiliation Report



Internship Research Report



The proposal and report format must be followed for the specific type of report. 5

Some Important Dates:



Résumé : By 15 th February 2015 (Revised)



Topic Selection : By 26 th February 2015



Proposal : By 12 th March 2015



First Draft : By 7 th April 2015



Final Report : 23 rd April 2015 If necessary, dates may be changed by OPA under notification to the students.

Some Important Points:

 Keep regular contact with Supervisor & OPA.

 Provide every update about your internship to OPA & Supervisor in due time.

 Check your e-mail account regularly.

 If you are posted outside Dhaka, contact through email or phone.


