reconsigned directly to a buyer overseas, business income tax will be levied only on the
value added to the goods in the FTZ.
2. When an owner of foreign goods, in accordance with Article 14-1 of the Statute for
Upgrading Industries, self-establishes or commissions an FTZ enterprise to establish a
distribution hub for storage and simple processing of goods, income from the consignment of
such goods to domestic customers will be exempt from business income tax.
