Presenter should play pomp and circumstance in the background during visioning activity. Presenter should read the following excerpt slowly to allow participants to process visioning activity. Between each prompt the presenter should have a brief pause to write on their post it note.

Imagine that you are at a graduation ceremony in 2018. You see a class of young women and men dawning a robe that represents your school colors. These students walk into the auditorium single file line, one by one. What sorts of feelings do you think this students are experiencing? You have played a major role in the students education and have facilitated their accomplishments. When asking these students to identify 3 main accomplishments what would they say? Each student that takes a seat in at the graduation ceremony attributes individuals to their success. With one particular student in mind, who might he/she say played an instrumental part in their education? What gives this person the glory?

As this same student crosses the stage what characteristics will you hope this student possesses? You realize this student’s academic knowledge will be the pathway that leads him/her on the next journey. What academic knowledge and skills are you hoping this student possesses?

Three years have passes since that graduation day and you meet up with this student. What do you hope to see and hear from this person?
