This contact formed through mutual interests will provide both with a rewarding learning experience and lead to a beneficial relationship between mentor and student. Program Goals Supporting students in their professional and personal development is the primary focus of the mentor. Students will be able to establish a relationship with a Boeing mentor to learn more about professional life and explore potential career paths. Member Responsibilities Mentor: Make initial contact with student and commit roughly two hours per month to interact with ‘Buddy’ via phone call or email. Student: Keep record of contacts with mentor and create a lessons learned document at the end of the term. This document will be used to evaluate the program and to assess the student’s participation. University Focal: Pair up students and mentors. Boeing Oversight: Generate employee interest about the program. Communicate the goals between both parties. Notify members who are selected for that semester, and relay to them the student’s contact information.
