The Women In Defense Mission Cultivating and supporting the advancement and recognition of women in all aspects of national security is the mission of Women In Defense, A National Security Organization (WID). Members of this non-profit professional organization, which includes men and women, have careers related to the defense of the United States and national security. Dear Corporate and Organization Colleagues, The Women In Defense Mid-Atlantic Chapter, a National Defense Industry Association Affiliate, is a professional development and network organization. As a non-profit, 530196547, we host four to five luncheons annually in close proximity to Aberdeen Proving Ground and the Edgewood Area. These events are attended by Government and Industry members. We encourage Corporate and Organization colleagues to actively participate and, as feasible, sponsor our events. Sustaining Lunch Sponsorship Approximately Four to Five Events Annually All sponsorships include: sponsor provided brochure and marketing materials, event recognition and logo on WID Mid-Atlantic website. Includes logo in event programs, recognition and lunch tickets. $1000 for 5 tickets /event or $500 for 2 tickets /event. Speaker Sponsorship - Single Event All sponsorships include: sponsor provided brochure and marketing materials, event recognition and logo on WID Mid-Atlantic website Gold Sponsorship - $1000 10 tickets for you and your guest(s) Full page ad in event brochure Silver Sponsorship - $500 5 tickets for you and your guest(s) Half page ad in event brochure Your Sponsorship supports Women In Defense programming and community outreach in the Mid-Atlantic area. Our organization supports the national WID Horizons and locally focused scholarships. Our programming targets the professional development, health education and networking among women and men in the local Department of Defense and National Security community.
