How to get a CD-based installer for VisualWorks?

VisualWorks supports x86 Windows (98, ME, NT4, 2000, XP), Macintosh (OS 9 and OS/X), Solaris, HPUX (10.x, 11.x), AIX 4.x, SGI Irix, COMPAQ True64 Unix (Alpha), and x86 Linux ( http://www.cincomsmalltalk.com/CincomSmalltalkWiki/VisualWorks+7+White+Paper ) Cincom Smalltalk non-commercial is provided for download in one of three ways. We recommend you to download an ISO file which ready to be burned to CD.
You have to follow these two steps : 1. Register for downloading 2. Download the software
Firstly, go to http://www.cincomsmalltalk.com/scripts/ProductRegistration.ssp
Then fill in your information, and then click on Submit 1 2 3
After registering, you would have got an email which has a link to download. Then click on the link and use your username and password to login Download link Your username and password

Select the latest version of
VisualWorks
To save the “ISO” to your computer for burning a CD 1
No matter the name of the directory! When you download the file, put it somewhere (up to you, in a “temp” folder for instance) and then create a CD from the file
