Journey Through “The Tabernacle”
TO GET THE MOST OUT OF
THIS “JOURNEY”
“U” MUST BE SPIRITUALLY
PREPARED
Tabernacle With us “LORD”
Desire, it is a dainty word! It were
much that He should satisfy the need,
the want; but He goeth far beyond
that. Pity is moved to meet our need;
duty may sometimes look after our
wants; but to satisfy the desire implies a tender watchfulness, a sweet
and gracious knowledge of us, an
eagerness of blessing.
God is never satisfied until He
has satisfied our desires.
REMEMBER THIS AND LIVE
I WOULD RATHER LIVE
MY LIFE AS IF THERE IS A
GOD, AND DIE TO FIND
OUT THERE ISN’T; THAN
LIVE MY LIFE AS IF
THERE ISN’T, AND DIE TO
FIND OUT THERE IS………

A. The Feast of Firstfruits (Lev. 23:9-14)
1. The Special Place…Lev. 23:10
“Speak to the Israelites and say to them: ‘When
you enter the land I am going to give you and
you reap its harvest, bring to the priest a
sheaf of the first grain you harvest’”
In the land of Canaan; the land I said I would
bring you to
a) Purpose of the handful..Lev. 23:11
“He is to wave the sheaf before the Lord so it
will be accepted on your behalf; the priest is
to wave it on the day after the Sabbath”
Waved before the Lord for your acceptance
Sow into your faith in order to build and
receive more the next time!!!!!!!!!

2. Easter’s gift for us…1 Cor.15:20
“But Christ has indeed been raised from the
dead, the firstfruits of those who have
fallen asleep”
Jesus symbolizes the “New Beginning” with
this newness of life as the first to be raised
ushering in our same chance for renewing
a) Some gone on; seen again…
Matt. 27:52,53 “The tombs broke open and the
bodies of many holy people who had died were
raised to life. They came out of the tombs and,
after Jesus’ resurrection they went into the
holy city and appeared to many people”
Some of the dead Saints seen among the living in the Holy
City

b) Time for the garden to bloom…
1 Cor. 15:42-44 “So will it be with the resurrection of the dead. The body that is sown is
perishable, it is raised imperishable; it is
sown in dishonor, it is raised in glory; it is
sown in weakness, it is raised in power; it is
sown a natural body, it is raised a spiritual
body”
Those Saints that worked the garden and
suffered for the cause of Christ were
raised with imperishable, glorious, powerful and spiritual bodies; bringing glory to
God

3. Our salvation should win others…
Matt. 9:37,38 “Then He said to His disciples, ‘The
harvest is plentiful but the workers are
few. Ask the Lord of the harvest,
therefore, to send out workers into His
harvest field’”
In order for the garden to produce it must
be tended to and worked by a good gardener
Jn. 4:35 “Do you not say, ‘Four months more and
then the harvest’? I tell you, open your eye
and look at the fields. They are ripe for
harvest”
If the fruit is ripe to be harvested; then pick
it while it is good

B. The Feast of Pentecost (Lev. 23:15,16)
Lev. 23:15 “From the day after the Sabbath, the
day you brought the sheaf of the wave
offering, count off seven full weeks”
1. Receive you the Holy Ghost…
Acts 2:1-4 “When the day of Pentecost came, they
were all together in one place. Suddenly a
sound like the blowing of a violent wind came
from heaven and filled the whole house where
they were sitting. They saw what seemed to be
tongues of fire that separated and came to
rest on each of them. All of them were filled
with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in
other tongues as the Spirit enabled them”
Jesus’ promise to never leave or forsaken is honored

B. The Feast of Pentecost
1. Receive you the Holy Ghost…
a) Not ready to make an appearance yet
Jn. 7:37-39 “On the last and greatest day of the
feast, Jesus stood and said in a loud voice, ‘If
anyone is thirsty, let him come to Me and
drink. Whoever believes in Me as the Scriptures has said, streams of living water will
flow from with him.’ By this He meant the
Spirit, whom those who believe in Him were
later to receive. Up to that time the Spirit had
not been given, since Jesus had not yet been
glorified”
While jesus yet resided with them their was
no need for the Holy Spirit. He was the light
of the world while he walked among us

B. The Feast of Pentecost
1. Receive you the Holy Ghost…
b) Coming to stay for good…Jn. 14:16,17
“And I will ask the Father, and He will give
you another Counselor to be with you forever—the Spirit of truth. The world cannot
accept Him, because it neither sees Him nor
knows Him. But you know Him, for He lives
with you and will be in you”
2. The Law given; and the results…
Ex. 32:28 “The Levites did as Moses commanded, and that
day about three thousand of the people died”
Those that were not in according to the Law that
was given to Moses were killed because of disobedience

A slave was “redeemed” when someone paid money to buy his
or her freedom. God redeemed us from the tyranny of sin, not
with money, but with the precious blood of His own Son. We
cannot escape from sin on our own; only the life of God’s Son
can free us
1st born male belong to God (Man or Beast)
Christ is our Passover lamb, the perfect sacrifice for our sin. BeNo yeast was to be eaten (represents Sin)
cause he has delivered us from the slavery of sin; we should
Commemorates their leaving Egypt
have nothing to do with the sins of the past (“old yeast”)
Pass this on to your children
Requires that the first crops harvested be
offered to God. The Israelites could not eat
the food from their harvest until they had
made this offering
Today God still expects us to set aside His portion first, not last. Giving
leftovers to God is no way to express thanks. Firstfruits were the first
part of the harvest that faithful Jews brought to the temple as an offering. Although Christ was not the first to rise from the dead, He was the
first to never die again
A festival praising God for a bountiful harvest. Celebrate to the Lord your God by giving a freewill offering in proportion to the
blessings the Lord your God has given you.
Peter’s speech was given to an international audience, and it resulted
in a worldwide harvest of new believers—the first converts to Christianity. Fulfillment of prophesies from John the Baptist (Luke 3:16) and
Joel (Joel 2:28,29)

3. When it hits you; you’ll react…
Acts 1:8 “But you will receive power when the Holy
Spirit comes on you; and you will be My witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria,
and to the ends of the earth”
Power for Life
When you pray God’s Holy Spirit in your
life expect changes that allow you to do
things that are not common to you. When
God empowered me with it I found myself
able to do those things that I would
ordinarily not even attempt. Things like
singing openly and speaking about what
He is doing in my life and with me.

WHAT IT SAYS
This is my Bible, I am who my Bible say I am,
I can do what my Bible say I can do. I have
what my Bible say I have, my Bible
teaches my spirit, my spirit teaches my
mind, and my mind teaches my body. My
Bible is full of promises and commandments, my Bible has good and bad examples. How do I know my Bible is true? By
comparing scripture with scripture and
spiritual things with spiritual things. I
study my Bible to show myself approved,
rightly dividing the Word of God.
