Medical Students
 Can interactively participate in lectures or
mentoring from distant locations
 Can sit with primary care physicians during a
telemedicine consultation
 Can accompany a specialist from KUMC
during a consultation
Medical Residents
 Can provide telemedicine services as
component of residency training
 Currently being done in pediatrics and adult
psychiatry
