CLAWS ARE RETACTABLE AND VERY SHARP (RETACTABLE MEANS TO DRAW INTO THE BODY)

PUPILS CAN BE VERY LARGE ENABLING THEM TO SEE IN THE NIGHT SHRINK TO A NARROW SLIT ENABLING THEM TO SEE IN BRILLANT SUNLIGHT THERE ARE A NOCTURNAL (NIGHT) AS WELL AS DAYLIGHT PROWLING FAMILY

MAIN DIET CONSTIST OF FLESH TEETH LONG AND ANGULAR – MAKES THEM ABLE TO TEAR FLESH

USED FOR JUDING THE WIDTH OF HOLES AND DISTANCES VERY SENTITIVE

PROTECTED BY HAIR INSIDE WHICH ARE VERY SENSITIVE THE HAIR PROTECT THE CATS FRON ANYTHING THAT TRIES TO ENTER THE EAR

What animal is known as the king of beasts? Why does it have that title? What is its temperament really like?  Often called the king of the best  Male = 1.2 metres in height at the shoulder and 3.3m in length.

    enhanced in apperance by a magnificent thick shaggy mane of long hair which falls on the neck, shoulders and part of the throat and chin.

Female is not graced with this adornment and smaller than male Food = zebra, antelopes, buffaloes His terrific roar put terror into every animal in hearing distance It likes sandy, rocky districts and wait for its prey 14
