GDS Installation – Recovery 2
1. Insert a GDS master DVD into Combo drive.
2. Turn the PC power on.
5. Enter “2” for Factory Recovery.
3. Enter “1” for recovery.
6. Enter “Y” to continue.
4. Enter “1” for acceptance.
7. Installation proceeds.

9. Remove the DVD drive from the PC and restart the
PC.
10. Setup the Windows XP Professional as instructed.

1. Insert GDS Software Master (Installation Version) to
the CD/DVD-ROM.
2. Install Shield will start automatically in few seconds.
3. Press "Next" button in following dialogs.
4.Select the HDD drives where the user
wants to install GDS.
In this step, user can choose between C
drive and D drive to install the Data folder
that requires about 40 GBytes.
Press "Next" button to go to the next step.

5. Press "Next" button to installthe seleted viewers.
Install Shield will launch the selected install programs: Acrobat reader,
MS Word viewer, MS PPT viewer, and MS Excel viewer.
After installing all the required viewers, press "Next" button to go to the
next step.
6. GDS files will be copied into your computer. This step will take about 50 to
80 minutes.
7. Press "Continue" button on the dialog below. Then install shield will go through
various settings required for the GDS installation. The setting process takes around
5 to 10 minutes. PC will reboot automatically after the settings. Therefore, save any
of the workings to be saved, before or right after pressing the "Finish" button on the
Dialog. During this process, do not take out the installing DVD, nor run GDS
program. GDS will not be installed correctly if these actions happen during the
installation process.

8. After the rebooting process, GDS installation dialog will popup and
automatically continue the GDS installation. Press "OK" button to
continue.
11. When whole installation process is completed, there will be a message
box showing that GDS installation is completed.
12. Now, connect to Internet and start the GDS program by clicking GDS icon on your
desktop. You'll find the "GDS User Certification" window.
13. Please insert your ID and Password then click OK button.
14. Start the GDS.
9. IIS (Internet Information Service) will be installed if it is not installed
on the User's PC.
15. If you find this kind of popup window alert dialog wile using GDS, PLEASE
CHOOSE "UNBLOCK" button to operate GDS normally.

Please install GDS Language Pack after installing GDS Software Master. User must install at least English.
And install other languages if MECESSARY.
1. Insert GDS Language Pack after installing the GDS Master Install
DVD in the DVD-ROM.
4. Select the local (or preferred) language (s) in following dialogs as
below. Press "Next" button to go to the next step.
2. Install Shield will start automatically in few seconds.
3. Press Next button in following dialogs.

5. Click "Install" Button to install GDS Software Master (Language Pack) that is
selected by user (including English).
7. Press "Continue" button on the dialog below. Then install shield will go through various
settings required for the GDS installation. The setting process takes around 5 to 10
minutes. PC will reboot automatically after the settings. Therefore, save any of the
workings to be saved, before or right after pressing the "Continue" button on the
Dialog. During this process, do not take out the installing DVD, nor run GDS
program. GDS will not be installed correctly if these actions happen during the
installation process.

8. Now, start the GDS program by clicking GDS icon on your desktop.

GDS Installation – GDS Language setting method
1. On the GDS main screen, click "Configuration" menu.
2. Select "Dealer" tab under "Configuration" menu.
3. On the "First Language" area under "Language", select the same language that
USERS Windows(O/S) is based on. Then press [SAVE] button
4. GDS interface will have the language setting that USERs Windows is based on.
5. Move to the preferred menu and start using GDS.

GDS Installation – Trouble shooting
GDS users tip for Proxy server users
In case of users who uses “Proxy server” for their network, users PC takes IIS through the proxy server, which means
that the GDS Security will block the pathway causing GDS, stop from its operation. Therefore “Proxy Server Users”
must take following action before they operate GDS.
1 – Close all the running programs including GDS.
As shown below, right-click on [properties].
Alternatively, users can click on [Internet Explorer] from an Internet Explorer web browser.
On [Internet Options], move to Connection tab, and then click on LAN settings.
2 – On Local Area Network (LAN) Settings, in the “Proxy server” area, tick ‘Bypass proxy server for local addresses’.
Restart GDS.

GDS Security
Security icon (“Lock” symbol)
• Check if the security icon is displaying at the bottom of the screen after
recovery.
• If not existed, GDS security setting is not finished.
Normally it takes 1-5 minutes depending on the internet speed.
