◦ EXPLORE: ALL applicable GR 8 and 9 students
◦ PLAN: ALL applicable GR 10 students












Read and understand the manual.
Identify and admit testers.
Supervise the test room.
Direct students to seats.
Collect cell phones/etc.
Pick up and distribute test materials.
Read test instructions.
Time each test.
Actively monitor.
Collect and account for all answer folders and test
booklets.
Complete any required documentation.
Return materials.
If you have a room with OVER 25 students, assign a
proctor to assist the Room Supervisor. Proctor duties
include:
Read and understand manual.
Help admit testers.
Direct students to seats.
Help collect cell phones, etc.
Help distribute materials.
Verify timing.
Actively monitor.
Report irregularities to Room Supervisor.
Escort students to restroom (if more than one leaves at a
time).

Tests begin on time, no late starts.

Students who arrive late will not test.




No one may be admitted to the testing room
once the timed tests have begun.
Accurate timing of each section is critical.
Discuss how to handle the break between test 2
and test 3.
Supervisors (test administrators) announce when 5
min. are remaining for a test section.

Materials and reports will be picked up from
the Testing Department.

Secure test materials.

Read and understand the manual.

Select and train qualified staff.

Select testing rooms.

Provide copies of seating charts/pre-plan
seating.

Assemble additional materials for all rooms:

Count materials for each room, record number
provided

Provide student rosters

Check test rooms/test administrator assist

EXPLORE: Scratch work done in book,
additional scratch paper available. (Collected
and destroyed)
PLAN: Scratch work done in book.
No questions about content or the calculator
are allowed.
Leave the room one at a time for the
restroom, unless escorted.
Announcement of time; 5 minutes before the
end of each test.
Electronic devices are NOT allowed.
Applied to page 1 of the student test folder
PRIOR to the first day of the test.
Choosing a TEST OPTION:
◦ We are Option 3, as we have Pre-ID labels.

Turn all answer folders the same way with the
same side up.
Make sure there is one answer folder for each
student tested.
Check student answer documents.
◦ Answers marked with pencil?
◦ Stray marks and doodles erased?
◦ Is the correct test form marked in block K?


If one subject area is voided (VSC), code
correctly and submit for scoring.
IF ENTIRE TEST IS VOIDED DO NOT SUBMIT
voided answer folders, retain on campus.


Retain all used and unused test booklets on
campus to distribute to students when scores
come in……alphabetized storage.
Retain all UNUSED answer folders.






ONLY submit answer folders that will be
SCORED.
Complete 1school header.
Put answer folders in White Tyvek Scoring
Services Envelopes.
Then place Tyvek envelopes into Plastic
Polymailer Bags.
USE a PERMANENT marker on the bags and
envelope.
RETURN TO THE TESTING DEPARTMENT for
mailing by October 4, 2013.
