they started to talk
in other languages,
which they had
never learnt before
so many could
hear them and
became believers.
Filled with the Holy
Spirit, they all shared
everything they had
with one another.
The apostles organised meals for
the poor and helpless. They visited
many people who were sick and in
need of any kind of help.
The Holy Spirit gave the
disciples the desire to pray to
God. They praised God in
private and in public.
Before they were hiding, afraid of being
arrested like Jesus. But they forgot their
fear and went bravely about the town,
preaching and teaching about Jesus, and
baptising new believers.
the Holy Spirit made them
feel very happy, even if they
were poor and lived hard
lives. This proved to many
people that the Holy Spirit
was a real power.
The Apostles
received power to
heal people in Jesus’
Name from all kinds
of illnesses and
disabilities. They also
freed people from
evil spirits.
