More than just summer camp…
Covered boat docks allow your troop to rent
sailboats for weekend use throughout the spring
and fall
Paddleboards & Sailboats
• Want another turn using the paddleboards?
• We now have:
– 8 more stand-up paddleboards
– 6 more sailboats
• 125 seat harnesses, Scouts
can climb more often
• Safe, fun time on the rocks
Biking
•Scouts in the older program can go
mountain biking on Three Notch Trail
•Participate in a thrilling ride that takes
you to unseen parts of the ranch
Shooting Sports
•Shooting activities are available for scouts of all ages
-Archery and BB guns are open to cub scouts
-Shotguns and rifles can be used by boy scouts,
venturers, and explorers
Restrooms/Shower Houses
• New bathroom and shower facilities were
added in summer 2013
• Modern facilities with flushing toilets and
electricity are replacing older complexes
• Two bathroom / shower facilities at S bar F
• Provided at Camp Famous Eagle, Camp Gamble

•A new dining hall is opening in 2015 in Camp Famous
Eagle
•Will be open in time for the 2015 summer camp
season
•Over 16,000 square-feet with the capacity for more
than 400 Scouts
•This will give Scouts
several new dining
options for the 2015
camping season

Program
• Backpack the backcountry of S bar F
• Visit different parts of the Ranch every night
• Blacksmithing, sweat lodge, high ropes
course, black powder rifles, river hike
• 3 merit badges offered:

• Wilderness Survival
National Youth
Leadership Training
• NYLT- where Scouts become better leaders
• Master the Patrol Method
• Be tested and learn to cope with unexpected
situations
