 To ensure that Voluntary & Community Sector (VCS)
organisations are represented, informed and involved in
the roll- out of the Children's Centre/ Extended
services strategy

Purpose of Post
To promote and enable the Voluntary & Community
Sector to effectively engage with Health Agencies,
the Local Authorities, and other partners to develop
and implement plans for children & young people’s
services in the Leicestershire and Rutland Local
Authority areas.
Post funded by LCC and County PCT
FORUM/NETWORK OPEN TO ALL VCS ORGANISATIONS WITH A CHILDREN & YOUNG PEOPLE
FOCUS (LEICESTERSHIRE & RUTLAND local authority areas)
Forum meetings twice yearly for day or half day
Further contact facilitated by Partnership Officer and VCS Forum Executive Group through
E-network, E-briefings, CCP website page, CCP Newsletter Page etc.
