Ezekiel 15:1-2
1And
the word of the
LORD came unto
me, saying, 2Son of
man, What is the
vine tree more than
any tree, or than a
branch which is
among the trees of
the forest?
Ezekiel 15:3
Shall wood be taken
thereof to do any
work? or will men
take a pin of it to
hang any vessel
thereon?
Ezekiel 15:4
Behold, it is cast
into the fire for
fuel; the fire
devoureth both
the ends of it,
and the midst of
it is burned. Is it
meet for any
work?
John 15:7-8
7If
ye abide in me, and my
words abide in you, ye shall ask
what ye will, and it shall be
done unto you. 8Herein is my
Father glorified, that ye bear
much fruit; so shall ye be my
disciples.
Ezekiel 15:5
Behold, when it was whole, it
was meet for no work: how
much less shall it be meet yet
for any work, when the fire
hath devoured it, and it is
burned?
Ezekiel 15:6
Therefore thus
saith the Lord GOD;
As the vine tree
among the trees of
the forest, which I
have given to the
fire for fuel, so will
I give the
inhabitants of
Jerusalem.
Psalm 80: 8-18
8Thou
hast brought a vine out of Egypt: thou
hast cast out the heathen, and planted it.
9Thou preparedst room before it, and didst
cause it to take deep root, and it filled the
land. 10The hills were covered with the
shadow of it, and the boughs thereof were
like the goodly cedars. 11She sent out her
boughs unto the sea, and her branches unto
the river.
Psalm 80: 8-18
12 Why
hast thou then broken down her
hedges, so that all they which pass by the way
do pluck her? 13 The boar out of the wood
doth waste it, and the wild beast of the field
doth devour it. 14 Return, we beseech thee, O
God of hosts: look down from heaven, and
behold, and visit this vine; 15 And the vineyard
which thy right hand hath planted, and the
branch that thou madest strong for thyself.
Psalm 80: 8-18
16 It
is burned with fire, it is cut down: they
perish at the rebuke of thy countenance.
17 Let thy hand be upon the man of thy right
hand, upon the son of man whom thou madest
strong for thyself. 18 So will not we go back
from thee: quicken us, and we will call upon
thy name.
Isaiah 5:1-7
1Now
will I sing to my wellbeloved a song of my
beloved touching his vineyard. My wellbeloved
hath a vineyard in a very fruitful hill: 2And he
fenced it, and gathered out the stones thereof, and
planted it with the choicest vine, and built a tower
in the midst of it, and also made a winepress
therein: and he looked that it should bring forth
grapes, and it brought forth wild grapes. 3And
now, O inhabitants of Jerusalem, and men of
Judah, judge, I pray you, betwixt me and my
vineyard.
Isaiah 5:1-7

Isaiah 5:1-7
4What
could have been done more to my vineyard,
that I have not done in it? wherefore, when I
looked that it should bring forth grapes, brought
it forth wild grapes? 5And now go to; I will tell
you what I will do to my vineyard: I will take
away the hedge thereof, and it shall be eaten
up; and break down the wall thereof, and it shall
be trodden down:
Isaiah 5:1-7
6And
I will lay it waste: it shall not be pruned, nor
digged; but there shall come up briers and thorns:
I will also command the clouds that they rain no
rain upon it. 7For the vineyard of the LORD of
hosts is the house of Israel, and the men of Judah
his pleasant plant: and he looked for judgment,
but behold oppression; for righteousness, but
behold a cry.
Jeremiah 2:21
Yet I had planted thee a
noble vine, wholly a
right seed: how then art
thou turned into the
degenerate plant of a
strange vine unto me?
Ezekiel 15:7
And I will set my
face against them;
they shall go out
from one fire,
and another fire
shall devour them;
and ye shall know
that I am the
LORD, when I set
my face against
them.
Ezekiel 15:8
And I will make the land desolate,
because they have committed a
trespass, saith the Lord GOD.
