Why has VCO been re-branded?
The current design is now over five years old
The Vodafone brand has changed significantly in that time and the VCO
website must reflect this
The changes being made to VCO are only a small part of a global project to
align our branding throughout the Vodafone estate
Retail retail stores have begun a programme to make changes, paperwork
is being changed, anything bearing the Vodafone name and or logo will be
changed as a part of this project.
VCO will have it’s new look from Monday 20th November 2006
It is important to point out that the way VCO works
has not changed in any way - the URL is still
www.vcol.co.uk and your password from Friday
17th November will still work on Monday 20th

New look navigation of VCO
• The menu layout is the biggest
change to the site
• The navigation icons are no longer
across the top of the page, all
navigation is now via the menu on
the left hand side of the screen
• All menu items remain in the same
categories as previously - e.g.
New Connections still falls under
eSales, Recoveries are still under
the eService (the only area name
change from Service & Support)
and Online Preferences are still
under My Account

eSales - select handset
An example of a ‘before and after’ screen shot
The eSales process, as with all other
processes in VCO has not changed, the
user will still order a handset from the
screen below, then move on to sim cards,
accessories, price plan etc….
There is also no change in the direct links
between VCO and internal corporate
systems - prices for equipment and
BAN/BEN details will still come directly
from the customers information we hold
on our billing and order management
systems

Online Preferences

Again, the way this works has not
changed, merely the style, font, colour
and layout of the screen.
The re-branding work will not change the
current settings for any customers

Edit User Details
An example of a ‘before and after’ screen shot
Users with the correct access levels will
still be able to edit their own & other
users details in the same way as they
have been able to up until the rebranding exercise
There will be no effect on any password,
memorable fact or ARC code for any
internal or external user. The URL to
the site is still the same and any
favourite links which users may have
saved on their PC’s will still work
