Elliot Rivera is the Regional Sales Director for Total Administrative Services

States. He has served as an insurance profession for 14 years, gaining insight from
the agent, broker and TPA perspectives. He graduated Cum Laude
from Florida Atlantic University with a bachelor’s in Healthcare Administration
(curriculum concentrations were on the PPACA, Cobra, HIPPA and FMLA). He
achieved his MBA in Finance from Nova Southeastern
graduating Magna Cum Laude. As a company TASC has been in business for 38
years and operates under the direction of in-house ERISA attorney and compliance
chair with combined compliance experience of 75 years”

Liabilities, DOL statistics/activity and the law itself"
Essentially the program will identify: what ERISA entails, why there is
increased noise regarding it, responsibility and liability for all sizes of
employers, common audit triggers, direction and activity of DOL, EBSA
and IRS. Review of sample DOL audit letter, DOL budget, carrier
communications and what they mean.
