Gifty Mante is a Midwives. She was born
on the 16th May 1949 . She is a Ghanaian.
She resides at Ekumfi – Ekrawfo in the
central region of Ghana.

• Neonatal Resuscitation and dissemination and safe mother hood protocol
– Ghana health service Adabraka –Accra – September 2012
• IUD – implant insertion and removal training sponsored by IPAS in
collaboration with Ghana health service . Ridge hospital – Accra ,May 21st
to June 2012
• Participated in scientific session organized by Ghana Registered midwives
Association during 8th Biennial general meetings –Winneba, Central Region

• Participated in a medication abortion training organized by protecting
women’s health (IPAS Ghana) in collaboration with Ghana registered
midwives association in Accra : June 2011
• Scientific session topics towards the achievement of the MDGs 4,5,6. the

• Dolly Foundation is a local non governmental organization in Assin
Fosu
• The organization was formed in January 2009, It got registered in
June 2010 with Registrar General Department and social welfare
department.
• The aims and objectives of Dolly Foundation include the following;
 To give appropriate health care, counseling and health education
 To investigate, unearth and spell out the basic needs of women To
use right and evidence – based approach for improved lives of the
poor, vulnerable, voiceless and marginalized in society.
 To mobilize and build capacity of the youth to earn a living and
support local level development activities
 To advocate for, and work with the marginalized individual and
communities against inequalities , discrimination and
marginalization
