Feeding Habits
The hawksbill likes
to eat
crab,fish,sponges,
and jellyfish.
Population
The exact
population of the
hawksbill sea turtle
is not known due
the destruction of
their nesting sites,
shrimping nets and
other garbage that
they can get tangled
in.
Size and Weight
Adults size from 8 to
10 meters (30-36
inches). Shell
weighs about 100 to
200 pounds.
Eretmochelys Imbricate
The Hawksbill sea turtle in found in
warm seas . In the Southwestern
Pacific, people refer to them as carats.
The Hawksbill has an upper jaw
resembling a hawk’s beak.
