Terms of Reference
Item 1 :- Document successful cases of ICT
innovations by geographical area
Item 2 : Analyze the innovations that may be
standardized and identify best practices which
can facilitate the implementation of such
innovations in other parts of the world;
Item 3 : Identify a few case studies which, in
particular, developing countries can adopt to
enhance their ICT innovation and standardization
capabilities in order to improve their socioeconomic development;

Item 4 : Identify the issues developing countries
may be facing to bring their ICT innovation to
ITU-T;
Item 5 : Suggest future ITU-T study items and
related actions; and
Item 6 : Examine how other Standards
Development Organizations, forums and
consortia address ICT innovation, and integrate
them into their standardization activities.

No universal definition for the term mobile
money
Mobile money refers to financial transactions
and services that can be carried out using a
mobile device such as a mobile phone or
tablet.
These financial transactions and services are
sometimes referred to as mobile financial
services and may or may not be linked directly
