What will stay the same?
 Our philosophy – continue our journey on the “bridge”
 Continue with leadership development and the seven habits







Habit 1: Be proactive. You’re in charge.
Habit 2: Begin with the end in mind. Have a plan.
Habit 3: Put first things first. Work first, then play.
Habit 4: Think win-win. Everyone can win.
Habit 5: Seek first to understand, then to be understood.
Listen before you talk.
Habit 6: Synergize. Together is better.
Habit 7: Sharpen the saw. Balance is best.

The state of Texas designates three levels of instruction for the core
academic areas of Language Arts, Mathematics, Science, and Social
Studies:
• Traditional
• Pre-AP (Preparation for Advanced Placement) – Challenging
coursework that engages students on a high level in preparation for high
school AP courses.
• AP (Advanced Placement) – Advanced high school coursework taught
on a college level. Students who pass AP exams can earn college credit.

Lovejoy believes that every student should have the
opportunity to achieve his/her highest potential. To that
end, all regular core academic 6th grade and middle-school
courses are taught at the Pre-AP level. Not all students
will choose to continue into the high school AP program,
but all students are given the opportunity to prepare for
this option.
