in order to create business possibilities.

Successful events. Average participation during the 6
arrangements is around 100 companies.

B2B – very efficient – 25 minutes – prebooked meetings

Seminars Russian and European/Scandinavian speakers

Target companies/groups: Maritime and oil/gas - SME’s,
politicians, decission makers etc.

Increased european activity towards sea transport – new
searoutes and ports, new trade patterns, new technology,
more efficient logistic etc.
Arkhangelsk Maritime Partenariate in October 2009
An initative aiming to bring European, Scandiavian and Russian maritime
companies together for dialogue and expanding future business.
A meeting place for shipowners, shipyards, equipment suppliers and fabricators,
construction companies, naval architechts, harbours, research and development,
shipfinance, regional development projects etc.
A meeting place for trade, export, outscorcing, maritime education institutions
and development of maritime competence etc.
The Arkhangelsk Maritime Partenariate 2009 is a possibility to meet new and
interesting business partners and colleagues from prosperous maritime regions
in the North West of Russia and the Barents –region.
The Arkhangelsk Maritime Partenariate 2009: An event in partnership with the EU
NMC-StratMos project.
Results and conclusions
• Arranged October 27 -29 as planned. In good cooperation with NMCcoordinator Vladimir Kharlov, Arkhangelsk County Administration,
Sozvezdye and Barents Secretariat in Arkhangelsk.
• 60 Russian participants from companies, administration and politicans
• 30 participants from Norway, Sweden and England.
• Program and speeches relevant and of high standard.
• Very good excursion to Sevmarsh-met by Direktor General Kalistratov.
• Very good visit to oil terminal and port of Arkhangelsk
• B2B concept not used – need common registration and signing-up
combining different alphabethic system.
• Permission process should be easier. Some disapointments.
• CONCLUSION: Good arrangement, low cost budget-effective, new
networks established.
