St. Maarten, St. Vincent, Suriname,
Trinidad and Tobago, and Turks and
Caicos.
Gospel is preached in Creole, Dutch,
English, French, Surinamese

Tourism is a key element of the
economy in many of the Caribbean
nations.
Most children in the Caribbean wear
uniforms to school.
Strengths




There is great cultural expression
and freedom in their worship.
The human resources are another
strength they have in the territory.
The officers and soldiers have great
pride in the Salvation Army uniform.
While many officers in the territory
have more than one appointment,
they are able to adapt and adjust in
order to minister effectively.
Challenges




Finances are needed to keep Salvation
Army programs running.
More officers are needed throughout the
territory.
There is a need for adequate
transportation to/from Army facilities.
There is a lack of equipment for ministry,
such as instruments and music.
