Managing a Digital Footprint
“ Publishing ” on any on-line site lives forever.
Publish only those things that you would want to see on the front page of the paper.
Publishing in jest, or to get back at someone, can backfire.
Permission of the other person should be obtained before publishing.
Colleges and employers search social media sites before making decisions to accept and hire people.
Managing Social Issues
DIGNITY, VALUE, and WORTH – we all have it!
RESPECT – we should all give it!
Social issues occur: on-line, in the halls, through text, face-to-face, before, during, and after school.

Ask for help if conflicts arise.

Choices!

Do you make your classmates better?
Do you have a teachable spirit?
Do you have good work habits?
Do you give your best effort every day, and every bell?
Do you keep your integrity intact?
How do we “measure up?”
Be “Abnormal” Be Different.
Be Noticeable.
Be Appealing.
Build a legacy in addition to memories.
Make the commitment to good character choices.
We are Madeira Strong!
Make Each Day the Best Day of Your Life!
We all have a special bank account – time.
Life is a series of choices.
With freedom comes responsibility.
Wise choices are driven by good character.
One day at a time - have a great year!
