(Approximately £500k over 2.5 years)
Project aims:
 Cross-border co-operation
 Conservation of natural sites
 Volunteering opportunities
 Enhanced wildlife festivals
 Environmental tourism
 Increased visitor numbers
Tilling Green Community Centre

(Approximately £233k over 3 years)
Project aims:
 Development of vocational skills & training
 Job searches and business development
 Health improvement schemes
 Services for young people
 Development of IT skills and access to internet
 Community activities
Rye’s Coastal Heritage
5 partner organisations
(£54,977 over 1 year)
 Develop an exhibition of Rye’s fishing heritage
as a visitor attraction
 Intergenerational project to develop heritage
learning and other associated skills
 Development of volunteers for heritage learning
and young people’s activities
Membership Consultation
Objective:
To create a strong working relationship between
the members and the Rye Partnership Board
that best serves the needs of its communities
The aims of the consultation are:
 To ascertain whether or not the membership is
representative of the communities it serves
 To agree the shape of the membership for the
future
 To ascertain what members would like to be
involved in and what is important to them, within
the remit of the Rye Partnership
 To agree the best way for members to be
involved in and informed of the projects led by
the Rye Partnership
 To consider and agree on the best format and
frequency of future membership meetings

Continue to develop:
 The Tilling Green Community Centre
 The employment and training project
 The Environmental tourism project
Develop:
 With local business leaders a project to improve
the skills of local businesses
 A heritage week project with the Chamber of
Commerce and Rye Museum
 A robust plan for the Fisheries site
