tipps
• Important with introduction letter in CV
• Keep your CV short, 1A4 only, put the rest in the attachments
• Downweight your thesis, upweight your personal education and special
skills, and adapt them to the needs of your proposed employer
• Tailor your application to the employer – why are you the perfect person
for that job? Why should they employ you? Describe how, in what way you
fulfill the requirements, not only that you do it
• Learn Swedish!
• You do not need to know everything – and your employer does not expect
it, but you are expected to learn new things
• Valued qualities: To read fast and extract the most important information,
accumulated knowledge is important, to write articles, critical thinking/ to
ask why, working independently
• Often lacking: Communication skills, explain something to nonexperts, be
brave and dare to share your knowledge even in case of uncertainty
