The UN voted to end British control of Palestine and
to divide the country into a Jewish and Arab state.

In Joel 3:2, the prophet said that the nations of the
world will be judged for having scattered the people
of Israel and for having “divided up” (or “parted” or
“partitioned”) the land of Israel. On November 29,
1947, when the United Nations General Assembly
approved a motion to partition the land, which at
that time was called “Palestine.” The partition plan
divided the land into two separate states, one for
Jewish people and another for Arab people. Today,
that partitioning is interlocked with many political
problems as the Jews seek to reclaim the land
promised to them in the Bible (see Genesis 15:18,
Genesis 28:10-17 and Genesis 35:9-12), and the
Arabs seek to create a homeland for “Palestinians” Arabs who have lived in that land for many
generations.

On May 14, 1948, the Jews declare independence
for Israel. This is the first time in 2900 years that
Israel is both independent and united.

Israel prevails in the Arab-Israeli war of 1948-9. Israeli forces
recapture more of the ancient Jewish homeland, expanding the size of
Israel by about 50 percent.
1967
Six-Day War: Jews capture holy city of Jerusalem
During the Six-Day War of 1967, Israel takes control of Jerusalem and
other ancient-Jewish territories.

1968- Current Jew began to buy property from the
Palestinians
- This was prophesied in scripture!!!

Defense ministers from close allies Iran and Syria on Thursday signed an agreement for military
cooperation against what they called the "common threats" presented by Israel and the United
States. In a joint press conference, Iranian Defense Minister Mostafa Mohammad Najjar and
visiting Syrian counterpart Hassan Turkmani said their talks had been aimed at consolidating
their defense efforts and strengthening support for one another.

Syria is also threatening Israel and supporting the terrorists who are waging Jihad on them.

Amos 1:3-5 States that Syria will come against Israel four times, and then will be made desolate.
These occurred in:
1948 (1st) 1967(2nd) 1973(3rd) and the 4th appears that it could happen at
any time!
Damascus is the capital of Syria. It is the oldest perpetual city in the world! It is over 5000 years old!

Is. 17:1 States that Damascus will be taken away from being a city and
become a ruinous heap - this has not happened yet,
but will very soon!!
Isa 17:3 "The fortified city will disappear from Ephraim, And sovereignty from
Damascus And the remnant of Aram; They will be like the glory of the sons of
Israel," Declares the LORD of hosts.

In 1973, Israel came with 20 kilometers of Damascus - Russia stepped in and informed the
world that if they continue, it will
be world war three. If Israel had destroyed Damascus then, this prophecy could not have
been fulfilled!
Additionally, Russia is backing Damascus - when Damascus attacks Israel again, it will be
destroyed, and it will cause the
prophecies in Ez. 38 and 39 to be fulfilled - Russia, the bear of the north along with Muslim
nations will be forced to attack Israel, but God will intervene!

ISRAEL HEADS FOR WAR WITH SYRIA
TEL AVIV [MENL] -- Israel's military has been preparing for the increasing prospect of a war with Syria in a confrontation
expected to include Iran and Hizbullah.
The General Staff has discussed an assessment by the military's Northern Command of an emerging threat from Syria and
Hizbullah over the next year. Northern Command said a weakened Syria, under pressure from the United States to
withdraw from Lebanon, was likely to approve an Iranian-Hizbullah campaign against Israel.

Matt. 16: 1The Pharisees and Sadducees came
up, and testing Yeshuah, they asked Him to
show them a sign from heaven. 2But He replied
to them, “When it is evening, you say, ‘It will be
fair weather, for the sky is red.’ 3“And in the
morning, ‘There will be a storm today, for the
sky is red and threatening.’ Do you know how to
discern the appearance of the sky, but cannot
discern the signs of the times?
Heb 9:28 so Christ, having been offered once to bear the
sins of many, will appear a second time, not to deal with sin
but to save those who are eagerly(patiently) waiting for him.
This is what is commonly called the Rapture – at the second
coming Yeshuah deals with sin, but at the rapture he rescues
the Christian!!

The main support for the
Rapture is this verse…
1 Thess. 4:15 According to the Lord's own
word, we tell you that we who are still alive,
who are left till the coming of the Lord, will
certainly not precede those who have fallen
asleep.
16 For the Lord himself will come down
from heaven, with a loud command, with
the voice of the archangel and with the
trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ
will rise first.

Mat 24:40 "Then there will be two men in the field; one will be taken and
one will be left.
Mat 24:41 "Two women will be grinding at the mill; one will be taken and
one will be left.
Mat 24:42 "Therefore be on the alert, for you do not know which day your
Lord is coming.

• Any verses talking about not knowing the day or the hour or passages talking
about Yeshuah coming like a ‘thief in the night’ are all talking about the
Rapture of the Christian – not the second coming!
The whole world will know when the second coming is!
The AntiChrist will gather the nations to fight Him in the valley of
Megiddo and they will be waiting there for him on the very day!
Rev 16:13 And I saw, coming out of the mouth of the dragon and out of the mouth of the
beast and out of the mouth of the false prophet, three unclean spirits like frogs.
Rev 16:14 For they are demonic spirits, performing signs, who go abroad to the kings of the

whole world, to assemble them for battle on the great day of God the Almighty.
Second Coming…
Rev 19:19 And I saw the beast and the kings of the earth with
their armies gathered to make war against him who was
sitting on the horse and against his army.
Rev 19:20 And the beast was captured, and with it the false
prophet who in its presence had done the signs by which he
deceived those who had received the mark of the beast and
those who worshiped its image. These two were thrown alive
into the lake of fire that burns with sulfur.

The Rapture is the most glorious
event that will ever occur in history.
It is when the Christian (both those
who have died and those who are
alive, will be taken to be with
Yeshuah Christ. This is the first
resurrection. This is the glorious
appearing of Yeshuah Christ to the
world!

The second half is God’s judgment and wrath and Israel protected in
the wilderness.
Rev 12:6 Then the woman fled into the wilderness where she
*had a place prepared by God, so that there she would be
nourished for one thousand two hundred and sixty days.
Rev 12:14 But the two wings of the great eagle were given to
the woman, so that she could fly into the wilderness to her
place, where she *was nourished for a time and times and half
