Celebrating 25 years of Brand Leadership | On 26th April 2003 SCOOTER brand
completed its exceptional brand equity as a market leader and household name for last
28 years. The brand was launched by Vijay Industries on April 26th 1978 at Khairthal
in Alwar district.
Data Group has multiple distinctive oil seed processing complexes which to cater the
increasing market requirements.
Data Group markets its products under SCOOTER and ASHOKA brands. Both
brands have become synonymous with excellent QUALITY. The Group has a special
focus on SCOOTER brand mustard oil.
Considering the health conscious customer, ASHOKA brand’s array of products are
low in fat and calories that together with several health benefits, add great value to the
customer. The brand is available in Mustard Oil, Vanaspati, Soyabean Refined oil,
Mustard Refined oil, Ground Nut oil and Salt in different packs and sizes. For a

Data Group has multiple distinctive complete oil seed-processing complexes with synergic cost
reduction and better market control. The first mustard oil plant at Khairthal, M/s Vijay Industries
was established in 1978 with 40 Kolhus, which has since been expanded and modernised thrice at
regular intervals and is now operating with 104 Kolhus producing 20 MT Mustard Oil and 40 MT
Mustard Cake per day.
M/s Saurabh Agrotech (P) Ltd., with 152 Kolhus and a daily
crushing capacity of 1200 bags of Mustard seed was started in
the year 2001 with 40TPD Production of Mustard Oil.
Besides, from SCOOTER Brand Agmark Mustard Oil Grade-I
Company markets its Agmark Mustard Oil Grade 2 under
SHIVAM brand.
Forecasting an increasing demand of Vanaspati & Refined Oil,
Data Group acquired Shree Hari Agro Industries Ltd., Near
Bassi, Jaipur . The company's own brand “ASHOKA”
command a good market share in Northern India. After this
take-over the company has enhanced production capacity.

Data Group has been smart in assessing edible oil consumption pattern in the country. Considering the everincreasing per capita edible oil consumption, Data Group is planning to further enhance the production
capacity.
Data Group is commited to snergic advantage and operating cost economy to
compete to the global competition. Under this vision in March 2002, M/s
Saurabh Agrotech Pvt. Ltd. And Vijay Industries have installed wind energy
generators in Jaisalmer (Rajasthan) district. The power generation through
windmill has contributed for the exploitation of natural resources without
burning any fuel and therefore maintains pollution free environment.
Subsequently, the group has commissioned more energy generators which as
of today has 4 generators producing approx. 1 MW of electricity. By investing
in environment preservation in commissioning its wind power station, the
group demonstrated its commitment as a responsible corporate citizen.
To encourage the Agro activities, Data Group is engaged in horticulture,
agriculture and social forestry at a modern farm of more than 200 Hectares located
in Alwar and Guna(M.P.). The group has invited proposals from major
international players with latest technology and better market control.

Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL), Number one telecom company in
