• Acting President Joseph Hoffman

Budget Update
• New budget model for FY2013-14 has been
tabled.
• Anticipated 4.2% budget cut (approx $265,000) to
State Support – SUNY will be redirecting those
funds to help with the situation at SUNY
Downstate.
• Anticipated State Budget to be flat coming into
FY2013-14 (approximately $22.7 million)
Capital Updates
• No new construction funds for FY2013-14
Summer Projects:
• Ceiling in Chaney Dining Facility –
removal/replacement of ceiling and asbestos
abatement.
• Pedestrian access, lighting, public safety issues
surrounding the CARC.
• Complete renovation on Building 18 (old
University Police Building) – funded through
NYSERDA Rebates received from the CARC
construction.
