Unfortunately many of our Board Member’s here at the Sedgwick Senior Center have announced they will be resigning at the end of the year. They need you to step forward and take their places on the Board. Per bi-laws the Senior Center can not stay open with out an Executive Board; so if we want to keep the Center open we have to have some volunteers. You have a couple months to find out what each position entails, and decide what position you would like to fill!! If you know of someone that you think would be an asset to the board please talk to them about it and have them contact us at 316-772-0393. Board members DO NOT have to be 55 and older. TREE PLANTING COST SHARE City could pay up to $50 of the cost of a tree of your choice to be planted on your property! Pick up Information packets at City Hall BEFORE planting.
