designed to alert individuals
outdoors to take shelter.
DO NOT rely on outdoor tornado sirens
to warn you of fast-approaching storms.
Tune to your local television or radio
station for storm warnings.
The City of Sedgwick routinely tests storm
sirens on Mondays between 10:00-10:30AM.

Curfew is 11:00 p.m, Sunday
through Thursday
And
12:00 midnight, Friday & Saturday
Curfew is in effect year-round.

NEEDS YOU!!!
Unfortunately many of our Board Member’s here at the
Sedgwick Senior Center have announced they will be
resigning at the end of the year. They need you to step
forward and take their places on the Board. Per bi-laws
the Senior Center can not stay open with out an
Executive Board; so if we want to keep the Center open
we have to have some volunteers. You have a couple
months to find out what each position entails, and decide
what position you would like to fill!! If you know of
someone that you think would be an asset
to the board please talk to them about it and
have them contact us at 316-772-0393.
Board members DO NOT have to be 55 and older.
TREE PLANTING COST SHARE
City could pay up to $50 of the cost of a
tree of your choice to be planted on your
property!

VOLUNTEEERS NEEDED
The City of Sedgwick Fire/EMS Department is looking
for extraordinary people to serve as Emergency
Medical Technicians.
NOT CURRENTLY AN EMT?
NOT A PROBLEM!
We will pay for your EMT training in return for a
small time commitment as repayment. Several EMT
classes are starting soon in the area, including one in
Newton and several in Wichita.
