Mission The Rotary Foundation

The mission of The Rotary Foundation is to enable Rotarians to advance world understanding, goodwill, and peace through the improvement of health, the support of education, and the alleviation of poverty.

Programs and Funding

The Rotary Foundation programs include:  Humanitarian Grants Program  Educational Programs  PolioPlus Support for these programs comes from:  The Annual Programs Fund  The Permanent Fund  The PolioPlus Fund

Polio Plus

As long as polio threatens even one child anywhere in the world, children everywhere remain at risk. The stakes are that high.

Goal Setting

 Goal setting is key to success just as it is to your business or profession.  Club Goal Report Forms are necessary to calculate the worldwide 2009-10 Annual Programs Fund Goal.

 Set challenging yet realistic goals  Need every member’s support DUE TO DISTRICT GOVERNOR-ELECT KATHLEEN BY MAY 1, 2009!!!!

1. Lead by example. Make your gift to the Foundation early in the Rotary year.

2. Encourage and ask every club member to make a gift every year.

3. Inform members of how their contributions to the Annual Programs Fund support Foundation programs that achieve good in the world.

4. Recognize Rotarians who support The Rotary Foundation.
